The Galen Collection is about a personal journey in adding ancient coins to a collection my father started. The site will highlight a few select coins from his original collection, the history behind them, along with what's been added to expand the collection.

The Collection
The Galen Collection started with a focus on Roman, Byzantine, Medieval English, and Dutch Colonial coins, all with a connection to events in history my father found fascinating. As it continues to grow, each new piece will have a connection to an event or era I didn't have a chance to discuss or share with him.
